A historic Art Nouveau building in the center of Riga. Excellent location, well-developed surrounding infrastructure, nearby schools, shopping centers, various shops. Park Inn Hotel by Radisson has recently been built across the street.

Architect, Jānis Alksnis 1869. 7. XII in Taurene, Vidzeme - 1939. 9 I. Riga has taken care of some 130 multi-storey stone houses and also a number of wooden buildings. In Riga, Lāčplēša Street 35, there is an apartment rental house with shops. Built in 1909, architect Jānis Alksnis. One of the most expressive Art Nouveau buildings in the work of architect Jānis Alksnis. The artistic composition of the luxuriously finished facade is reminiscent of J. Alkšņa's
building at 19 Stabu Street.
In 1908, according to the master's project, he owned a residential rental house at 19 Stabu Street, which also housed his construction office. The well-balanced, harmoniously balanced façcde composition of the building is accented by two bay windows, above which rise the lawns with the silhouette of a plastic wavy line. Such grasses in Riga's Art Nouveau buildings are quite common, but especially in the works of J. Alksnis.
The first owner of the house, the rich landlord K. Galvins, liked the house 19 at Stabu Street so much that he immediately wanted to build the exact same building at 35 Lāčplēša Street and ordered a project for the architect. In the end, the building at 35 Lāčplēša Street is quite similar, but not close to the analogous Alksnis house.
